Premium still pushes ads? I did not know that.
I think it does not (yet), but many videos have sponsors anyway, so you will end up eating their sponsorship advertisement anyway unless you use advanced adblocking.
But still, many streaming platforms sold themselves as the premium option you pay to get rid of the ads, and eventually started including ads in their paid subscriptions anyway.
So, frankly, the wise thing to do is to skip paying them and just go straight for good adblockers. Specially for youtube, because their plan is clearly to make the free experience so pityful, painful and misserable you end up paying. It is extortion, blackmail, creating a problem in order to sell you their solution. So fuck them.
