    HI there, I just came to this BBS (mojos - bbs) that is out of Jackson Michigan and stopped by because I have been learning how bbs work. So yeah, there are people around it looks like, though it is not as popular as they were obviously from back in the era that the bbs was around.

    Best wishes man and good to see people on these.

    I am here ! I am not from the era of bbs. I am here because i came from the small web to check out what was on bbs and also it is a nice break from the internet.

    what i like to do is find a post from 2-5 years ago. then
    i reply to it. because it's "new to me". It keeps things active!

    What was the first bbs that you called in 79? Just curious. I started to called bbs'es in 1985 and believe the first system I called into was a CompuServe multi-line system. It was shrotly after claling into CompuServe that a friend of mine that worked at a local Radio Shack printed me out my first bbs list to start calling.
