  • 2 new AI-related DOVE-Net conferences

    2024 - AI Playground (post your AI slop/noise here, if you insist)

    DOVE-Net nodes (BBSes) are *not* required to carry these conferences, so if the sysop is morally opposed to all AI discussion and/or use/experimentation, they may choose not to carry one or both conferences. Also, since the equivalent sub-boards aren't in the pre-existing stock/default Synchronet configuration (yet), no DOVE-Net nodes will have them in their configuration to begin with.

    That said, I hope the new "safe spaces" to discuss/use (generative) AI will be appreciated by some.

    Some people don't want to hear/read about AI - they're "safe" from it by not carrying or reading that sub. That's what I mean by "safe space". Sorry to have triggered you; I hope you get can the help you need. :-P
