as some may have noticed, I've got a somewhat noisy user on my BBS.
This is a person with certain personal challenges but is harmless.

I understand they can be a nuisance, so I have deactivated their
account for now, but I'd very much like to know what is considered appropriate for a sysop to do in such a case. I'd like to handle the situation delicately for all involved.

We've all had users like that at one time or another. What I did, back
when I had local user bases, was to limit the user to local posting
only, let them know how I expected them to behave, and let them show
consistent behavior - then let them back on. It worked for a couple of
users, another just moved on, and another started creating fake
    accounts to post.

Thanks to one person, I needed to validate callers access to the net
    echoes for a long time.

I don't know what this user is doing that would be considered worthy of limiting their activity and such..

I visited his bbs. it looks to me like he has a user with more than one account(same writing style and off writing like a person making fake msgs posting to themself).

Furthermore, I saw this victoria person login multiple times and
looked at the via node info activity. They were not disabled. infact, it appears that none of the FEW active users are disabled. I think this might be crazy sysop syndrome like ron ernie.
