    I don’t think the ctla-A (0x01) char accomplishes anything in this context. Shouldn’t hurt either I guess.

    I've been in the habit of setting the normal attribute when I clear the screen. Just want to ensure things look okay when the screen is cleared

    Yeah, I think what you mean to write is `console.clear("N");`
