    Im newbie in OpenBSD world maybe romebody could help me here

    How do I get a block device name for just inserted a usb
    stick?

    Try running dmesg and see what shows up at the end of the output related to your usb device.

    If you are running TWM or CWM as window managers, you will get a notification in the xconsole window. Something such as "sd5: XXXXMB, 512 bytes/sector, XXXX sectors"

    The typical external drive with a single FAT32 filesystem can then be mounted by root with mount_msdos /dev/sd5i /mnt or whatever
