Sometimes when I start a reply to a netmail and delete the initial blocks of quoted text the from to and address fields in the header empty out.

Sometimes when I start a reply to a netmail and delete the initial blocks of quoted text the from to and address fields in the header empty out.

I have a similar issue. The editor behaves differently when I reply to a netmail than with echomail. If I long press, only a word is selected instead of the paragraph or block.

Sometimes (only with some netmails), if I select all the text and press delete, not only the body but also the header fields (from, to, subject) are deleted.

Updated now to latest with the Pixel.

Actually, when the header fields cleared out they only disappeared from view. When I complete the message the contents of the header were still retained.

Could you please provide screenshot of disappeared header fields?

Also indeed, netmail message editor differs from echomail one.
I have plans of improving editors, so I'm keeping netmail editor
as is because it will be reworked anyways.

    With best regards.

Seems to have worked ok in this echo mail reply. So, maybe it is just a netmail issue?

August has already posted one. It's the same for me.

I've noticed that if I press the back button (to hide the keyboard), the content of the header fields reappear.

Ok, fine. No problem. This "glitch" seems to happen only with some netmails, not all of them.

Yes, only netmail. With *some* netmails.

    hello Tolik,

After a poll, AS indicates new msg arrivals since the last poll. that's great. but after going into the echolist and coming back to the main menu the notification disappears even after not reading all the msgs. how about retaining the notification but a different colour if not all messages have been read yet?

    Let's make a poll.
This feature needs +2 more voices to be added to the TODO list.

    With best regards,

I like the way that HotdogEd does. Unread echos in bold, with red warning if there are new messages (until you enter the echo).

Something similar could be done with AfterShock, but playing with colours, like:

    - In the echo list, areas that have new messages since last poll: red square (instead of green). After you enter and exit the echo, green square if there are still unread messages, or no square if there aren't.
    - New messages since last poll: red square. If you go back to the echo list and enter the area again, no longer red.

(Change red by orange, yellow or whatever you prefer.)

Another idea... When there are NEW messages after a poll, have the echo list sorted so that those echoes with the new messages appear at the top - with their relevant colour markings to indicate new messages. And the remaining echos are simply below that in the usual alphabetical order.
