I have no clue what other countries do. I just know what Canada does.

The guy in the little booth as I drive across the border and the customs guy at the airport both know what my criminal records are at entry.

My my HB2 visitor Visa, the one I didn't have to apply for can and will be rejected at the port of entry if I have a criminal record... Including DUI and simple things like that.

I have 2 passports. I use my Canadian one when entering Canada and my US for the rest of the world.

You are right that I know this... Because I use to be subject to this. Now that I have 2 passports entry into either country can only be slowed down because as a citizen they have to let me in.

Common sense would dictate that other countries has similar relationships, for those who are Visa exempt.

For those that apply for a HB2 visitor visa have to send an official criminal record with the application. They will be an interview at the local consulate as well.

I'm also sure there can be a back and forth between countries as well.

For example.... Maryland Dad... The authorities in the US claimed he was a MS13 gang member. 2 Immigration judges agreed. His wife said he was and as well El Salvidor said he was.

In the US Maryland Dad slapped his wife around... He probably argued that she asked for it and wouldn't listen... BUT in the US you can't beat your wife to a point where she fears for her life.

I do not know if El Salvidor has a similar agreement as Canada has with the US... I am sure that if the US authorities call a country they can get information on someone they need to know about.

On the news you hear that Immigrant XYZ entered the country illegally, circumventing the due process of the US. Is caught doing ABC in the country... F@cking their children... Trafficking vulnerable people... Raping and murdering peoples daughters and what not... ONLY to find out that they are wanted in their country of origin for similar things.

I don't know why or how the other country gave that information... or do I care.

The US, or any country for that matter, should not be robbed of the due process of people entering the country.
