Sometimes when Firefox migrates profile elements from one
release to another, the passwords don't come over. But, you should

If you start Firefox by typing its name in Terminal, then as Firefox
runs, any error messages they output to stderr will be visible in the
Terminal. I get all sorts of junk in Firefox about the graphics subsystem.
Not many other kinds of errors show up that way.

I don't think so. I'm sure there are a lot of "spam & troll" groups in
the list, but also a lot of quite normal groups, for example the Windows
and Android groups, the Thunderbird group and probably many others, too
much work to check.

I don't subscribe to any of the listed nl.* groups. I subscribe to
other nl.* groups, but there hardly ever is a post in those :-(, so
instead, I use English-language groups.

High volume doesn't mean high level of spam/trolling.

As Alan K. mentioned (after quoting the whole list :-(), the list
should mention the volume per group to be meaningful. For example below
the bottom, there's number 514. news.software.readers, which is anything
*but* a high volume group and not a spam/troll group.

freeware - maybe for others to look for answers
