OEMs can be so lousy. Admittedly, though, I could've gotten myself into
    a difficult position when I overwrote Win11 on the China-based non-OEM
that assembled my new mini PC, because that overwrote the WiFi drivers,
25H2 media not having them already. However, I could just plug in my
WiFi range extender, to create an Ethernet link to the PC while
installing, and once it was updated the WiFi drivers were there, voila.
(I stopped using the range extender when my landlord put in a new router system with its own repeater in this area of the house.)

    Yes, Dell SupportAssist.

For the Dell customers, that's their "hobby".
    Cleaning up after the SupportAssist.

FWIW, I've got a Dell Optiplex Tower Plus 7010 with Win 11 Pro running
Raid 1 Dell's Raid driver from Nov 2025 instantly causes BSOD.
Sometimes Support Assist Recovery F12 could restore operation -
sometimes I had to do a complete reinstall of the OS. I now use Intel's
own Rapid Storage Technology App (RSTA) which works fine.

I've now uninstalled Support Assist after it installed the Dell driver
despite having it unchecked. I also installed wushowhide to prevent
Windows Update from doing the install.

Command Update keeps telling me I'm missing the Dell driver and I just
have to keep ignoring its advice.
