    This is neither a desktop Linux to rival Ubuntu nor a replacement for
    Windows 11. Azure Linux 4.0 is a server operating system designed for
    virtual machines, Kubernetes, and AI workloads running on the Azure
    platform. According to Microsoft, developers will also be able to run it locally via the Windows Subsystem for Linux on Windows 11.

    Please note that this version powers its own AI and cloud services, from
    the kernel to the security patches. Take this into account before
