    Mx is not a standard term/acronym/jargon used in the intelligence or
    espionage arena.

    Mx has been around since the 1970's and recognized by multiple
    institutions, governments, persons, etc.

    The 'M' from its honorific alpha term Mister, Misses, Miss.
    The 'x' as a variable signifying a placeholder or unknown gender(lower case)

    The only alpha character use of 'm' and 'x' was decades ago(in the past)
    in the global intel or 'spy' community with respect and an alternate
    reference to the silo-launched(L), surface attack(G), guided(M) missile
    known as the LGM-118 Peacekeeper.
    - i.e. 'MX' (Note: 2 capital letters, where the capital letters
    indicated Missile Experimental).

    Other acronyms for that same missile's type - MIRV, ICBM
    - you should be able to get those acronyms correct.

    ..and no, the Peacekeeper was not gender specific or neutral!

    If they can rename biology to life science then why not also genetic
    titles? I mean, the whole reason they went with Ms was to be rid of Miss
    and Mrs, yes.

    Also, my suggestion has many other positives as well. First, it truly
    reduces titles to First Principles, yes? And "X?" allows those who don't
    wish to be forced into one of two/three boxes ... the ability to break
    away and use the scientific Regular Expressions (RE) of "?" being any
    one character. For those wishing to not be confined to only a single
    character ambiguity, RE can offer much more latitude such as, or "X*" or
    even "X.*"

    I have never seen it.



    First documented use in print was in 1977. Gradually(over the next
    two-half decades) adopted/recognized/used in a variety of arenas. UK
    Post Office was the first to adopt as a mail naming prefix. The US Post
    did not need to adopt, it just delivers to the name and/or address.
