I recommend you get the evaluation from a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist, not from fiddling around with computer related statistical trivia.

I think you would benefit, and maybe get some relief from the OCD suffering.

Good luck. I hope you make progress.

Got it, you want a *brutally honest* psychological assessment.
Do not try to base this solely on apps installed, that misses the point.
The kind of person you are is revealed when you give yourself a pat on
the back, followed by the thousand-line list of android apps on your
    phone again. You are nauseating.

I have tried to broach this subject with "Maria", aka Arlen.

But I think he/she is not yet ready to accept any help.

Maybe someday she/he might be more receptive. OCD can be a true hell for

The fact both of you can only troll, begs the questions of both of you:

    1. *Do you both really know absolutely nothing about anything?*
(Because your "value", based on your output, appears to indicate that.)

    2. *Do you both really have no helpful bones in your entire bodies?*
(That is, are you both as despicably unprepossessing, as you appear?)

Anyway, the technical question is a valid one, even if the trolls have infested this thread to the point that responding to them rewards them.

For people who are (a) helpful and (b) knowledgeable, do you know if there
is any method to get all the apps that are installed on a Windows PC?

"The reason I care is to get a brutally honest psychological assessment"

You got exactly what you *asked* for.
Problem is, it wasn't what you wished for.

I'd generate a list of all EXE files. Generate a hash for each of the EXE
file. Remove duplicate hashes (i.e. identical EXEs by file content).

Then for EXE files which have version information, compare and check their defined application/product name, to further trim down the list such as one application which have multiple program versions. e.g. old/backup version of web browser EXEs.

    You could try

and that might be a superset of what is in Programs and Features control panel.

For portable or loose executables (not in TrustedInstaller folders),
they could be just about anywhere.

This is a good discussion because "accurate" is a primary operative.
And "installed" apps is the second main operative in this discussion.

Apparently, the output from Get-WinGetPackage lists the Windows App

You would think WinSxS would be a large enough vat, for all occasions.
Whereas these vats are updated on a relatively high frequency basis
via Reliability Monitor citation. Maybe we could think of the WinSxS
as the "low frequency" "Patch Tuesday" vat, and whatever this purpose
serves, is the "high frequency" "stealth" vat. My reliability info
has scrolled off, since I did a Repair Install, so I cannot give
an example of a WindowsAppRuntime set of installs.

I think the NPUDetect routine is going to be somewhat disappointed on my machine :-)
My machine is more DialupNetworking and LongWalksOnTheBeach material.
You would think there would be Detect routines for those.
I guess I just have no interest in boatloads of INT8 multiplies.
