    Hi All,

Had a weird one.ÿ Setting Internet said there was
no Internet access.ÿ It blocked installation of
a Quickbooks Enterprise update.ÿ And the Internet
    was definitely working, especially with
    me remotely logged in.

As it transpires, it was a goofed M$ Update that
did not update the DNS server setting was look for.

My keeper note on how to fix:

This was fixed in June 2023 in both Win10 and Win11, less than one month
    after the referenced article.

If Windows has been updated, then your issue is related to something else
    than Windows Update 'goofing'.

Effectively, all you've done is bastardize the registry with an
unnecessary change b/c the real solution was never found or investigated.

Also doubtful, that you performed a on/off test, returning the registry's original settings to validate an issue.

Maybe turning off Fast Start was the real solution!!!
