I suggest the latter. The command chair is too low down for a s2-7
chair. It's fine if it was the s1 chair but (see second pic),
Picard's headrest should be higher than it is in PIC.
Plus, the lights above the equipment lockers should be blue, not
white.
Also, the red alert lights on the panels next to the turbo lifts
faded in and out in PIC, while in TNG they flashed on and off.
Maybe this is the Syracuse* bridge module and Geordi just changed
the LCARS to read "Enterprise", and he swapped the dedication
plaque?
*or Columbia, since Admiral Hansen purportedly took a separated
galaxy class stardrive section to Wolf 359?
Go ahead and yell at me now.
As I understand it, the bridge on Starfleet ships is supposed to be
modular so that they can be replaced entirely. Thus there were likely
several made. The changes could simply be attributed to revisions in a
later version.
