Hi,
the world's worst air accident ( 583 dead ) happened when two Jumbos impacted on the runway at Tenerife in heavy fog. Faulty radio communications and an over anxious Captain in one jet were the main causes.
This vid shows a somewhat similar scenario in the same vicinity 3 years later, causing a fully loaded B727 to impact a mountain in fog. Everyone died.
