    Did not realize it was so "since 1894"!

    My daughter is a delivery nurse and she thinks it's quite funny when women deliver a baby on the first Monday in September ...

    Now that you mention it, it *is* odd that they would name a day
    intended for no official work a labour day.

    Now that you mention it, it *is* odd that they would name a day
    intended for no official work a labour day.

    How about Columbus Day in the USA to honour Columbus who basically discovered shit ...
