Anyone here have one of those smartwatches that is primarily
designed as a fitness tracker and sleep tracker?
On a whim while visiting an electronics shop for something
else, one particular type of watch was on display for $55CDN.
Sleep tracking was an included feature. Recently, I have been
curious about monitoring my own sleep after a friend of mine
started sharing the screenshots of the results from a
Fitbit(tm).
I have an app on my pone that's been doing a decent job of monitoring my sleep as to awake/asleep times & disturbances (it keeps track of depth of sleep)
It's called "Sleep Cycle"; I actually downloaded it because it's an alarm that brings you out of dep sleep slowly, with extremely low volume music/tone, increasing only as you ease upwards from deepest sleep -- the idea being not to shock your poor system out of deepest rest.
It does a wonderful job of this, but also, as an extra feature, provides a sleep report each morning, & a monthly summary.
My CPAP also monitors my sleep. specific to respiration.
I find it a handy app. I've kept the daily reports for a couple years now -- one day, when bored I might put them all into a database & graph things to see what shows up. .
