Are you still working on your 3d engine?

i wouldnt say im workin on 3d engine - i usually has no focus
and energy to work on more serious projects (if i had
i would need to finish furia compiler)..but i sometimes toy
with some smaller pices (to work days or at most few weaks with it)
to draw some conclusions with it

3 engine btw i wouldnt see so much serious as 3d engine is like one
function... but more interesting is like testing some spaceship flying
routines i 3d space (you know some algorithms form this bot pilots,
shoting , dodgin obstacles..i would like to study it a bit though im
presently quite weary/ wear off energy)

right now i got simple framework with flying ships and simple shoting by
    bullets and missiles

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vmkk7S9z6c8

as thise missiles has a limit velocity 30 m/s amd limits on angular
velocity and acceleration they may not shoot a target as those ships
may move faster˙ (as missiles have also life time like 30 seconds or so
    and then vanish)

some may observe as those missiles chase the ships etc

the problem is to add more interesting and "well tweaked" bahaviours
to those ships missiles and things and to find if there could be some
"juicy" uotcome form that making those simple space fights pleasurable
    maybe cleaver and skill dependat

its not necessary an easy thing bcouse there is maybe a lot of
tweaking involved and most things some wrote (maybe) is noy "juicy"
the goal is to find "juicy"

(i treat is as one of potential exercises in coding..nothing special
    but potentially interesting)

overally writig such pices i find hard - it s maybe becouse its not liek
you got well defined goal and you just need to code it

here the technical aspect of coding those maneuvres is not so hard
(not so hard to do it at least not very preciselly) but the goal
(og getting "jiucy" is not clear defined and that makes it hard it aso ttrigers somewha "codin neurosis" where you are afraid of coding it (possibly becouse its not defined goal so absolute no guarantee i can
just write it)..its makes it hard imo

hovever i got some observations how to go forward in such cases (and
    maybe not only)

    - do things carefully (thus sometimess slow)

    - increase cleannes

it things become carefull and clean then its easier becouse smal changes become meaningfull and youre more focused to notice things

if i notice things then i can slowly go on - but i still probablu
couldnt say such things are easy to code ;c

You can focus on the problem, writing it the best you can, and then just
run what you wrote through the AI tool of your choice. Does it really take >> so much time and effort?

There are upsides to that as well. By using proper English you'll increase >> the likelihood of people responding to you.

fir has been writing this way for a very long time, at least 14 years.
If multiple attempts to persuade him to make an effort to write more
clearly have failed, one more try isn't likely to do any better.

(My personal solution is a killfile.)

Are you still working on your 3d engine? If so, try to recreate the
    following simple scene:

    https://youtu.be/n13GHyYEfLA?list=RDn13GHyYEfLA

its ok+, music is good and this backroud is good

Thanks! I made the music myself playing with old MIDI code of mine. I
forgot the beats per minute here. Its pretty fast. 120?130?BPM ish...

kow its done? geometry of bitmaps?

Well, its actually quite simple in a sense. A model in pose at the
center of the scene. A wire frame unit cube. And a larger cube around it running one of my special fragment shaders. Also, it uses a background
from an older fractal of mine. My frag shader just mutates it in real time.

Fwiw, I think it used one of my Heavenly Visions renders for the main background. Basically, a neat way to plot IFS's using Julia sets.

    Read all:

    https://paulbourke.net/fractals/multijulia

with ai i coud learn ogl/dx/vulcan quite fast i guess but
i more lie rasterization as by now..more fun to me than dwelling in
    complex libraries

Nobody needs to buy books anymore... ;^)

Well, this scene was made in modern opengl. I don't think I was using
    PBR lighting for it.

    terrible problem for mental reductionist...

note i once mentioned that opinion may vary who is a troll KT (imposing
his rude mentally reduced views) or me(imposing more oryginal one)
but honestly..the answer is maybe more clear ;c

(note i mentioned this 'relativity' becouse some dose of relativity is
worth an esteem..but it is if we speak more theoretical in practice
the mental reductions go quite bad and no fun, so im only partial
relativisc in fact here (my aopinions may yet change here also))

There was supposed to be a solution for that it but it failed to deploy:
    the grouplens protocol.

Under grouplens protocol, the scores you assign to articles are shared
with other users, so you can effectively express the concept of "don't
show me what my friend Bob, also a regular of the newsgroup, doesn't
want to see, but with a weight of 0.75 assigned to Bob's scores" ...
or something like that; /do/ quote me with > > > but don't quote me. :)

It may not be a good idea anyway because it encourages echo chambers.
It seems like the protocol could allow a newsgroup to be fragmented
into multiple factions who each only read their own posts.

Is it really worth it? The number of posters isn't that high, we can all decide ourselves who we want to read. The problem is different here.

True. I've never seen something quite like Keith Thompson.
