RootBadger has a small Python discussion group built for the sort of threads that benefit from remaining readable and searchable: language features, standard-library questions, packaging, debugging, performance, frameworks, and practical code problems.
https://rootbadger.com/g/rb.comp.lang.python
It uses a traditional thread tree rather than flattening every reply into a feed. The group currently has a few starter discussions and needs more working Python programmers, especially people willing to answer questions or post a real problem they have been investigating.
RootBadger works on the web and through its native Android app, with an iPhone app coming later. RSS is available for the group as well.
I run RootBadger, so this is a project announcement, not an independent
review. If you try the Python group, technical criticism of the discussion format is welcome too.
