• New (proposed) drop file format, up for disucssion

From Rob Swindell@1:103/705 to All on Wed Sep 30 00:54:41 2026
Purposely not implemented (even in Synchronet) yet, as I want to give the community (especial door and host/BBS/server authors) time to review and provide feedback first:

As long as programmers keep supporting the established formats (for older systems that will unfortunately never be updated for a new one), I think it makes sense and is probably a good idea for the reasons stated on the github page.

I would like to give good feedback, but as you may know, most of my experience is from vibe-coding my first door game. What I can say is that I like that you're proposing ini, an established format. I also like the encoding and LANG options. Please let me know when the spec is finalized and I'll add support for it to Immortal Barons.
