• it might be the best REPLY ever

From Maurice Kinal@2:280/464.113 to August Abolins on Sun Mar 24 16:25:39 2024
    Hej August!

In doing a "reply without quotes" ..I inadvertantly discovered
that I need to fix that macro! "Hello $MUSER!!" :/

Stuff like that can and does happen when playing with ideas. To be honest I don't really mind quoting except when taken to an excess by quoting an entire MSG only to reply, "I agree" or something along those lines.

While I am at it, another indicator of a wasted MSG is when the kludges exceed the actual msg_body in bytes. I could name names but I won't advertise for them.

    Less is more.

    Het leven is goed,
    Maurice

    August,

That current ftsc document could easily be supplanted with a
new "version" that credits the original and adds "This document
intends to correct errors of the original and introduce new
approaches in FTN that have been since been invented and found
    in use." ..something like that.

That makes sense ... to me at least ...

US based people probably will fear the wratch fo Randy Bush ...
