FuNet is an alternative network for use with FidoNet compatible
software. We pass messages back and forth both in netmail and in echomail conferences. In FuNet, each node is welcomed and assisted in many ways by other FuNet members. We have active echomail areas and a growing file echo selection. Our echomail traffic is growing every day, and are now pulling more mail ever than before.

What makes this network different from every other dead network that
I'm apart of? WHy, as a sysop, would I add it? What do you provide that
is different from Fidonet, or fsxnet or agoranet, or ilink which seem
to be the only active (or most active) nets currently.

The very popular fsxnet has a nice retro area. Hobbynet has all sorts of hobby related groups. musicnet is a mostly dead music network. I don't see anything new here.

That is funny. It is actually like the Foo Fighters. A bunch of FU (FOO) But not remotely based on the Foo Fighters. ;)

I originally had the domain set to 'funet(.org)' then didn't do anything and let it lapse. That is why there is a hyphen in there.
