• Democratic Failure

From Gregory Deyss@1:267/150 to All on Sat Dec 28 13:04:41 2024
In the months and weeks leading up to the election the democratic machine threw everything that had at Trump.
From ridiculous court cases from New York to Florida.
They tried to do their best to bog him down in court, so he couldn't campaign.

Lets be clear this was an effort to silence Trump and his message.
They tried to convince the American voter using a very brush of their hateful message of disgust, while at the same time promoting fear.

All of what was said by these people on the left was a lie
    - We were told that the border is secure, repeatedly. It was not.
    - Costs at the supermarket for groceries are under control. They were not.
    - Inflation is under control. Not a chance.
    - Gas prices are down. Nope.
Not one single solitary comment from ANY democratic mouthpiece was true. Every diabolical idea they cooked up to stop Trump failed dramatically.

Americans are Strong and Resourceful they do not like weakness.
Biden had far to many of these moments
    - the man projected weakness.
    * the way he spoke and even moved, shuffling along barely picking up his feet * when he walked, it was completely embarrassing.

This is why Biden was removed and replaced.
Harris spoke in terms using word salad.
Her words were spoken with an overdose of sarcasm and it sounded adversarial, w/ an racially condemning motivated tone that was very divisive and unfriendly causing fake victim-hood at every turn. and that cackle. Seriously?
This is a exactly how many saw her, consequently this is why she was beaten in a Big League way. Good Riddance Hoe!

... I'm talking now. I'm talking, please. Does that sound familiar?

In the months and weeks leading up to the election the democratic machine threw everything that had at Trump.

    Of course they did.

From ridiculous court cases from New York to Florida.

Those court cases (now on ice but cases all the same) are far from ridiculous.

Trump was/is charged with stealing/mishandling top secret documents.

He was/is charged with trying to overturn to 2020 election, among other things.

he pled the 5th ~450 times in New York!

They did not. Democrats had no hand in those charges. Donald trump was charged with crimes in the same way any American would be charged with any crimes.

Lets be clear this was an effort to silence Trump and his message.

Nope, Donnie had no problem getting his message out. The DOJ gave him every opportunity to carry on his campaign in spite of the charges. He held rallies (many of them) on a constant basis.

They tried to convince the American voter using a very brush of their hateful message of disgust, while at the same time promoting fear.

It is Donald Trump who gives hateful messages.

They are eating the dogs, they are eating the cats, they are eating the pets! Of course it is all lies.

All of what was said by these people on the left was a lie
    - We were told that the border is secure, repeatedly. It was not.

I guess that depends on what you consider a secure border. None of the republican/gop/trump narrative around the border is true, never was.

    - Costs at the supermarket for groceries are under control. They were not.

You are talking about the cost of living.

The US economy under Biden did very well. I just read the DOW is down 500 points. That is because of Trumps talk of tarrif's and deportations. Te US economy has been taking a hit since the news of Donnie's election win.

    - Inflation is under control. Not a chance.

Inflation has been down under Biden. If Donnie continues with tarriff's and deportations it will be inflationary.

    - Gas prices are down. Nope.

The cost of living is not going to go down in spite of DJT's promises. He is a common liar.

Not one single solitary comment from ANY democratic mouthpiece was true. Every diabolical idea they cooked up to stop Trump failed dramatically.

What diabolical idea do you speak of?

Americans are Strong and Resourceful they do not like weakness.

    They will have to be.

Biden had far to many of these moments
    - the man projected weakness.
    * the way he spoke and even moved, shuffling along barely picking up his

Biden's legacy will be good and strong.

This is why Biden was removed and replaced.

Biden was not removed or replaced.

Harris spoke in terms using word salad.

Harris is a good speaker. She was always clear and honest.

Her words were spoken with an overdose of sarcasm and it sounded adversarial, w/ an racially condemning motivated tone that was very divisive and unfriendly causing fake victim-hood at every turn.

I don't recall any divisiveness in her speeches.

Maybe you don't like or agree with her, but she was not divisive.

Donald Trump on the other hand, he is a divisive character.

The media has even called them out on this one.

    - Costs at the supermarket for groceries are under control. They were not.

    And this one.

    - Inflation is under control. Not a chance.

    And this one.

They are actually going down here. It became more noticable after the election.

They worked on her some, which was very much apparent in the days before

and already had too many word salad moments on tape from before she was the nominee.

Trump was/is charged with stealing/mishandling top secret documents.

Letting Joe off for doing basically the same thing does not bode well for
this particular case. They need not waste any more tax money on this one
and pursue others. Otherwise, his defense team can argue that a precident
    was set with Joe's case.

I guess that depends on what you consider a secure border. None of the republican/gop/trump narrative around the border is true, never was.

Except that the US media has started to confirm that things are not right
    at the border, too.

    - Costs at the supermarket for groceries are under control. They were not.

You are talking about the cost of living.

Yes and, as that is the part of the economy that has the most direct effect
on the voters, it is a very valid point.

    - Gas prices are down. Nope.

The cost of living is not going to go down in spite of DJT's promises. He is a
    common liar.

    We will see.

Biden's legacy will be good and strong.

Only among those who want to wish it so. History will not likely be
so kind. The botched Afghanistan pull out, the lapse of peace agreements
in the Middle East, his debate performance that lead to his being replaced,
and Hunter's legal woes coupled with what might be the largest blaket
pardon in history will all tarnish that legacy.

This is why Biden was removed and replaced.

Trump was asked nicely for over a year to simply return the documents. He refused and told his layers to say "we have none".

Joe Biden returned all documents when they were found. There was no need for the FBI to execute a search warrant to obtain any stolen documents.

There is no comparison between these two incidents.

I guess that depends on what you consider a secure border. None of the
republican/gop/trump narrative around the border is true, never was.

Except that the US media has started to confirm that things are not right

Oh, the media has confirmed it?

Well, now the GOP has a trifecta I assume they will correct any laws that need correcting and implement them?

It'll be interesting to see what congress/senate will do about these issues in the weeks ahead.

    - Costs at the supermarket for groceries are under control. They were not.

You are talking about the cost of living.

Yes and, as that is the part of the economy that has the most direct effect on the voters, it is a very valid point.

True. The US economy has done well under biden in spite of corporate price gouging.

    - Gas prices are down. Nope.

The cost of living is not going to go down in spite of DJT's promises. He is
    a common liar.

    We will see.

Indeed. Donald has already said it's hard to bring prices down after the election. Before the election he said he would bring prices down.

Biden's legacy will be good and strong.

Only among those who want to wish it so. History will not likely be
    so kind.

History will be kinder to Biden than the American public.

    The botched Afghanistan pull out,

That was a Trump plan. Biden got it done, trump didn't.

the lapse of peace agreements in the Middle East,

What peace agreement did Biden (or America) let lapse?

his debate performance that lead to his being replaced,

His debate performance was bad, but he was not replaced. He stepped down. He was pressured I think, but it was his choice.

and Hunter's legal woes coupled with what might be the largest blaket
pardon in history will all tarnish that legacy.

Hunter's legal woes matter not. Who is Hunter?

His pardon is regrettable but understandable.

Trumps pardons (past, present and future) are none of the above.

This is why Biden was removed and replaced.

Biden was not removed or replaced.

If he had not "stepped down" he most certainly would have been replaced. Enough megadonors have come forward to confirm this.

Hunter's legal woes matter not. Who is Hunter?

I can imagine it because that is pretty much what happened. He "stepped down" because he was going to be replaced. The GOP did act outraged. Several
DNC donors were also outraged -- they didn't want Harris.

Since she was on the ticket, she was legally the only one that could
"inherit" the Biden money that had been raised. Anyone could have inherited the delegates, though. Research the 1968 convention. LBJ had some delegates, even though he announced he was not running. Those went to his VP Humphrey. However, the recently late RFK also had pledged delegates. Humphrey was not "tied in" with RFK like he was with LBJ (or like Harris was with Biden), but the RFK delegates were nonetheless reassigned to Humphrey.

We were not talking about Trump's legacy. We were talking about Biden's.

You are correct though it does not compare as Biden's pardon of Biden
extends to yet to be determined crimes over a rather large time frame. In other words, it is a get out of jail free card for anything done during
that time that might later come to light, and it is likely the largest
    "blanket pardon" in history.

Or was that pardon someone else's bad plan that Biden simply executed?

Biden's pardon of Hunter is forgettable.

It might be if he'd only pardoned him over what he was already convicted of.

I can imagine it because that is pretty much what happened. He
"stepped down" because he was going to be replaced.

He stepped down because it was the best thing to do. He plainly stated his reasons.

He was going to be replaced. I have previously posted links to discussions with Democrat megadonors who have confirmed this. They also have confirmed that Biden endorsed Kamala as an "F-you" to all of the Democrats who
pressured him to step aside -- they wanted an open convention and not
Harris being nominated. Unless you have some previously undesclosed
insider information, like being a Democrat megadonor yourself, you don't know what you are talking about.

Those court cases (now on ice but cases all the same) are far from ridiculous.
    Tell me.
If he wasn't running for the Presidency (of which he won in a landslide) Would any of these case ever see the light of day.
The answer is no, there you have your answer and my rebuttal to your logic.

While I agree with some of that, some cases date back to before he was officially running, i.e. after 2020 and before the 2024 cycle began.

Your friends in the democratic party and all the sycophants pundits within
    he
left-winged media who kept pointing to the sky, proclaiming it was falling, aided Donald Trump to be elected. Truth!

No doubt about that. Media members conceded to this right after the election was over.

You are talking about the cost of living.
I am talking about the cost of surviving
(food is essential & necessary for life to continue.)

Persons of wealth have issues comprehending this, and will deflect by
pointing at the stock market -- something that people having difficulty
putting food on the table have no real interest in.

Biden's legacy will be good and strong.
It's not what his numbers are showing.
They are piss pour, lowest since Jimmy Carter (RIP)

I am glad that Carter got to live long enough to see someone do even worse. Carter was a good man who didn't really deserve that albatross.

There is no comparison between these two incidents.

There is enough of a comparison that they will be hard-pressed to get a conviction after letting Biden off.

A conviction? There was never going to be a conviction or even a trial. There was no crime.

They need to concentrate on other charges that have plenty of evidence
and that are not ones they just let someone else off for.

There is no crime or evidence of any crime.

It's all a part of Trump's continuing legacy.

We were not talking about Trump's legacy. We were talking about
    Biden's.

Yes, you are talking about Biden's legacy. I am comparing that to Trump's legacy of pardons. He has done many stinky pardons and there are more on the way.

You are correct though it does not compare as Biden's pardon of Biden extends to yet to be determined crimes over a rather large time frame.

What crimes? Hunter is not the criminal you seem to think he is.

Same for Joe Biden, what crimes?

In other words, it is a get out of jail free card for anything done
during that time that might later come to light, and it is likely the largest "blanket pardon" in history.

Nope, Hunters pardon is no such thing.

Biden's pardon of Hunter is forgettable.

It might be if he'd only pardoned him over what he was already
    convicted of.

The Hunter pardon is forgettable, and so is Hunter. Who is he?

Oh, right. His name is Biden.

He stepped down because it was the best thing to do. He plainly stated his reasons.

He was going to be replaced.

The reality is he stepped down.

I have previously posted links to discussions with Democrat megadonors

Biden's endorsment of Kamala was nothing more than that. She didn't have to run. She decided to and the democrats got behind her.

    The rest is history.

A conviction? There was never going to be a conviction or even a trial. There was no crime.

A conviction of Trump. They don't teach you much about context up in BC,
do they? There is enough of a comparison that letting Biden off for
improperly storing classified documents in his home will make it very
difficult to convict Trump for also keeping classified documents improperly stored in his home.

And there was indeed a crime, in *both* cases. If Biden or Trump were just about anyone else besides a politician, keeping classified documents in the manner that they did would have landed them in jail and/or heavily fined.

Having worked with classified data most of my life, I know this. In my
state, you are not only covered by federal laws that promise jail time and fines, but there are also state level laws for mishandling classified federal documents and data that also carry jail time and fines.

They might be able to get Trump with some charge for not returning them,
but it won't be the grand conviction you are hoping for.

They need to concentrate on other charges that have plenty of evidence and that are not ones they just let someone else off for.

You are correct though it does not compare as Biden's pardon of Biden extends to yet to be determined crimes over a rather large time frame.

What crimes? Hunter is not the criminal you seem to think he is.

Hunter was convicted of crimes. Joe has pardoned him of not only those
crimes, but of all possible crimes during a wide time frame. So I am not
the one who is imagining any Hunter crimes. Joe Biden is.

In other words, it is a get out of jail free card for anything done during that time that might later come to light, and it is likely the largest "blanket pardon" in history.

Nope, Hunters pardon is no such thing.

Yes, it is. The last time anyone was issues such a blanket pardon, it was Richard Nixon.

If you google "hunter biden broad pardon" you will fine articles like this:

    https://www.politico.com/news/2024/12/02/hunter-biden-pardon-nixon-00192101

"'I have never seen language like this in a pardon document that purports to pardon offenses that have not apparently even been charged, with the exception of the Nixon pardon,' said Margaret Love, who served from 1990 to 1997 as the U.S. pardon attorney, a Justice Department position devoted to assisting the president on clemency issues.

"'*Even the broadest Trump pardons were specific as to what was being pardoned*,' Love added."

If you don't like that source, there are also articles from ABC, the AP,
    and NPR to choose from.

You have lost your own narrative. Your comments and my reply were about Biden, but we can talk about trump.

Speaking of Biden, there was no crime. That is why there is no trial or convicion.

There is enough of a comparison that letting Biden off for improperly storing classified documents in his home will make it very difficult to convict Trump for also keeping classified documents improperly stored
    in his home.

Biden did improperly store those documents, that is the end of that story.

And there was indeed a crime, in *both* cases. If Biden or Trump were just about anyone else besides a politician, keeping classified
documents in the manner that they did would have landed them in jail and/or heavily fined.

Trump took documents from the white house. Stored them in the bathroom at Mar-a-Logo among other places there about.

He was asked to return the documents, he refused. It came to a point where the FBI had to attend Mar-a-Lago and retrieve them.

Having worked with classified data most of my life, I know this. In my state, you are not only covered by federal laws that promise jail time

These were not simply classified documents. These were top secret documents.

The hard part is not convicting trump, it's getting him in court where a trial can be held.

There is no crime or evidence of any crime.

I am not, but I worked with classified federal and state data for over 20 years. Anyone who handles this data is covered by laws regarding how they handle it... the FBI, the IRS, politicians, state agency employees, etc.

There is no crime or evidence of any crime.

As we are talking about *Trump*, I am shocked to hear you say that but, then again, not too surprised as you are pretty dense.

I did not. Someone who handled Presidential pardons for several years -- someone who knows more about it than me and *especially* you -- said that. There were not intentionally igorant enough to ignore that it was indeed a *blanket* pardon.

Trump on the other hand had the authority to have them, he could declassify at will any document he wanted... Period.

Other presidents, mostly all, have taken documents from the White House. George W. Bush took documents home and he sent some back, years later, while keep others.
