Crisis in Las Vegas

The first casinos are already starting to lay off support staff, because it is already abundantly clear that far fewer foreign tourists are coming to the US.
This sets the trend, because yesterday Trump was only 100 days into his presidency.
Never before has a president in their first 100 days, without an acute reason, had such a huge negative impact on tourism and the economy. You would think, this is his second term, he should know better.
Las Vegas is like the canary in the coal mine.
They are the first to feel it there. Florida will still get hit, because the season is just starting there now. The same applies to the large national parks. And with that, the entire hospitality industry and so on. The number of bookings from abroad, and especially from Canada, is significantly lower than normal.
Meanwhile, the stock market is acting as if nothing is wrong. Remarkable, because the stock market usually looks six months ahead. Do investors not want to see it, or is so much cash already being pumped into the market that it continues to float on all the liquidity?
