• MLK Day

    Happy Martin Luther King Day!

King died before I was born, but I've listened to his "I have a dream" speech and I agree with everything he said in it.

Here's a fun fact: Republican President Ronald Reagan ratified house resolution 3706 to make MLK Day a federal holiday in 1983.

So why does the party that fought for the right to enslave and segregate get all the credit for "all that civil rights stuff?"

Because of people having sh!t for brains. That's why! Do you have sh!t for brains? Better get that looked at! LOL

I hope that MLK Jr is having a great day in heaven, and I will pray for that, and I think he was oustanding, outspoken, and a stand up guy, and I'd side with him any day of the week, but I honestly don't think that he did enough to have a federal holiday created in his name. Who's butt was Reagan kissing?

President Grant did more for racial equality than President Lincoln, President Reagan, and MLK Jr combined. He's the mofo who deserves a holiday named after him.

There's an interview on YouTube of him long after his speech and he said that elimination of racism was happening way faster than he dreamed. It took his assassination and race grifters to put the breaks on what he started.

Pretty much it. The mental gymnastics they go through to justify their beliefs is amazing. You'd think they would have stronger brains having done all that exercise to justify their false Narrative.

Totally agree. And we need an Al Jolson day too.

But such things go against the Left's false Narrative, so it would be an uphill battle.

I agree. The left is pushing the false narrative that his assassination contributed to the progress that we've made in racial relations (as if they have any clue about that) but obviously his assassination only helped pave the way for further racial exploitation.

It's impressive how they reaffirm it with such confidence.

What did he do? I google'd it and the left seems to want us to believe that he was a terrible guy for using blackface (as if that's worse than enslavement.)

But they were right. He was healing the racial divide and it was happening quickly.

Soon the race grifters would be out of power. And the Elitists wouldn't be able to fracture society along racial lines.

So something had to be done. And someone did it in the usual Leftist way: Wind up some poor, mentally soul, give him the means, grease the skids, and point him in the right direction.

Leftists will never admit their failures and will always double down on their mistakes.

He did a lot for racial equality in entertainment. Of course, the Left want to bury that.

I'm sure MLK was a threat to their livelihood. I read in the local news a few days ago that the NAACP was "celebrating MLK's vision for EQUITY." I don't think he ever used that word in his speech, but I could be wrong.

The funny thing about it is that if the killer wanted segregation so bad, going to prison likely only brought him closer to what he despises so badly.
