• Presidential Candidates in 2028

Trump personally ensured that one of his biggest critics will be taken off the air in May of this year. Steven Colbert will then lose his show, because the network he hosts it for bowed to Trump.

Steven Colbert, as a joke, ran a fake campaign a long time ago alongside the greatest living late-night show host, Jon Stewart.

That campaign was incredibly popular at the time.

I wouldn't rule out that both gentlemen will launch a similar campaign again before 2028, and if they actually have a real chance, they will follow through.

    Purely to save American democracy.

Because they don't really want this. But now is the time for sacrifices for democracy, and I expect they are both willing to make sacrifices. Steven Colbert has already lost his show. He'll have time. Jon Stewart only does one show a week on TV and otherwise does his share of online work.

They know how campaigns work. They have enormous support among their vast audiences.

The question is who will also run for the Democratic nomination, but together, the two men have a tremendous chance. The only question is: who will become president, and who will be the loser?

Or will they seriously share the presidency?
