That makes sense, but based on the information I've been hearing about her I've been happy with her service. With all the ICE raids, mass deportations, the left hating her so much, I thought she was doing excellent work.

So maybe she was compromised, or maybe this was one of Trump's plans all along (to replace her after a certain period of time) but here's another scenario to consider: Look at all those Democrats who voted with Republicans yesterday (the same day she was removed from her post.) Maybe it was part of a compromise package. Now they can tell their constituents "My pressure on Trump got Noem fired from her role."
