According to Trump, South Korea is set to invest $200 billion in an Alaska LNG project. However, the South Korean president subsequently announced that the deal is still under negotiation and far from finalized; the entire feasibility study has yet to begin. Trump values the project at $50 billion. Why, then, would South Korea invest $200 billion?
