It's a bit convoluted but anything is possible...
I don't think anything in Listen was as it appeared.
The Doctor disabled all the safeties in the TARDIS to allow Clara to
control her desired destinations subconsciously. I'm not sure they
went anywhere real. The episode actually makes more sense if it's a
set of dream sequences induced by the TARDIS
