    Can anyone imagine DW venturing close to the resonant statements
    of The Prisoner? It was so far ahead of its time, that it remains
    relevant. It could easily be about the present. Post-AI and all.

    That not to say some episodes of the first series weren't
    memorable and impactful. 'The long Game' springs to mind.

    These days the 'magic realism' slant for the stories makes it
    hard for DW to make a rational point. Still as they say, where
    there's life....

    I loved that show. It was on TV about 10 years ago, and recorded half
    the episodes. Unfortunately missed the first. Fall Out was the best. Completely bonkers ending.

    you should've seen the original 1960's series

    I was referring to the original. It was on a channel that reran old
    British TV.
