    No! N¡l! Nein! Non!

The worst ever British TV crossover was, still is, and always
will be is... DIMENSIONS IN TIME!

.... and I am unanimous in that!

Sister Boniface is a spin-off of Father Brown, so crossovers between
the two do make sense and no doubt there will be more of them.

Characters from one show appearing on another aren't really an issue,
as long as the shows have some continuity of style, timeframes, etc.
The real problem can be when the storylines themselves crossover,
especially if you do not watch the other show.

Here in New Zealand, the medical drama-soap "Holby" was a year or more
behind "Casualty", so we had to watch half the story and then wait for
"Holby" to catch up to see the other half. It also meant that sometimes
events in one show hadn't happened in the other, and once or twice the
same character was in both shows doing different jobs. :-\

Similarly I used to watch the US show "Legends of Tomorrow" (although
it got very silly when they ran out of ideas after the first couple of seasons) which did silly storyline crossovers with a few of the other
DC shows, but I never watched those other shows, so only sever aw part
    of the story.

    Major exchanges!!

Dave, there hasn't been a "major" exchange on RADW in about
twenty years! Anything that goes on here now is only Mickey
    Mouse in comparison.

Although mentioning Dimensions in Time in a thread titled "Worst
British TV Crossovers" is hardly revolutionary.
