    IMO I think we're a blend of dystopias. There's a lot of Brave New World
    and a good shake of This Perfect Day along with the 1984. 1984 shows how
    much of our lives are becoming controlled by propaganda, but the other
    two both show how we're turning to escapism, and This Perfect Day even predicted the rise of the tech caste.

    It might be quicker to list the dystopian novels which *aren't* coming
    true around us. I don't see much We, but it's been a long while since I
    read it.
