I remember Mack, yet another of the [poets] driven away from the
    newsgroup
by thug trolls such as NancyGene.

Heh, heh, Port of Mack a Damia. He was no more a poet (or port) than
his dog. He was another flunky you brought to AAPC to support you.

It was Mack A. Damia who made up the nickname "NastyGoon" for NancyGene. Prior to that I'd been using "NastyGene" (see my old song for that)
while Stephen Pickering used to call them "NaziGene" because of how they targeted the Jews (him mainly, but also Rachel and Ilya.

NastyGoon was a member of Team Monkey, which included Michael Monkey
(now aka as "HarryLime" or HarryLiar) and Chimp Obsesso (Jim Senetto,
under a dozen different nyms). these three claimed to be the "Majority"
of aapc and claimed the right to run it. They believed a conspiracy
theory that their imagined enemies (Team Donkey) were recruiting people
to become the "Majority" - so they put every new person who showed up on
the TD list, and tried to drive them away. To do that, they'd use the
tactics made famous by Peter J Ross and his kooktroll army from the
early 2010s: call them pedophiles and plagiarists. Michael Monkey would
call them pedophiles, and NastyGoon would call them plagiarists.

Mack wasn't a poet, just a poetry reader who was looking for help to
track down some lines (which I did in a week, with Will's essential
help). But by the end of Mack's first day on the group, he was fighting
with Team Monkey, and by the end of the first week he was being called a plagiarist by NastyGoon, and being attacked by the Monkey and the Chimp
for "attacking NancyGene". By the end of his second week, having got his answer, Mack was gone.

And that's the story of Mack A. Damia.

    Meanwhile... *crickets*

He has had one year of experience in writing poetry--fifty times.

Of course I've had over fifty years experience with writing poetry and
    songs.

Will's writing has not progressed from the 5th grade level where it
"leveled" out. He could try for 1000 years and would still be a
    horrible writer.

Again, you're not a very good judge of writing.

Oh, you do? Then please back up that last opinion of yours. You can
start by telling us what these "academic credentials" of yours are, and >>> why you think they're sufficient to "back up" your opinions.

    Show us the
progression in your writing that reflects 50 years of experience. Your
poems and prose are all written in the same primitive style you used at
    17 in the 5th grade.

If you were a credentialed academic, you must have run into the phrase
"shifting the burden of proof" before. When a poet and a critic disagree >>> about the poet's work, the onus is not the poet to demonstrate their
case; it's on the critic to demon theirs.

You also hate the writing of Manny greats including Harlan Ellison, Jack >>> Kerouac, Leonard Cohen.
Who is Manny? BTW, those are not great writers.

"Manny" looks like a typo for "many". As for your gratuitous attacks on
Ellison, Kerouac, and Cohen, you can back those up after you've "backed
up" your opinion of Will's work (which we can get to after you've backed >>> up your opinion of your academic credentials).

You're basically just an igneous troll, NancyGene.

We are a Volcanic Goddess! Are we a member of MAGMA?

MAGMA was funny, so we can forgive that spelling lame. But I do have to
point out that repeatedly making spelling lames about usenet posts by
someone who's written about his vision problems does nothing to back up
    your opinions of his poetry.

Amusing how NancyGene brags about these unseen academic credentials yet
she didn't even know who John Donne was.
