Disney fucks SF franchise again!
I expect they will not do another Star Wars movie.
Why would anyone want to watch The Mandalorian and Grogu
when most people have never watched the television series
(which is behind a pay wall) and don't have a clue who any
of the characters are or the backstory?
Where's Luke Skywalker? Why couldn't Disney make a series or
movie about him?

Out of interest, do you like anything on the TV? Anything at
all?
Oh, and there's no such thing as a paywall when you torrent!

The haters will moan anyway... because Disney made it.

Yes. The Eurovision Song Contest has been the best show all year.

Luke died in the last of Disney's silly "Sequel Trilogy"
movies, so it would be difficult to make a movie about him. A
movie / series could be made about a younger Luke, between the
Trilogies or his early life on Tatooine, but that would
require re-casting a younger actor to play the character,
which is rarely successful.

The Eurovision Song Contest is a rbuuish show, made even worse
by allowing non-European countries to enter - Australia being
this yer's example.
There's a similar stupidity with "Britain's Got Talent" where
people from other countries are allowed to enter.

No. That was the UK pop chart. Most of the singers in the
Eurovision were far better than the dog music in the UK top 40.

Australia has been part of Eurovision for a few years.

Luke Skywalker was in episodes of "The Mandalorian" and "The Book of
Boba Fett"... he rescued Grogu in the former and was training him in
the latter. Mark Hamill returned and they used his voice and de-aged
his face for the role. So the character could be used if set around
this period in the same way.
Obviously those appearances by Luke Skywalker were before "The Last Jedi".

Any time I have caught clips of that show it seemed to be the perfect example of untalented individuals and groups of people showing off... exhibitionists, freaks and misfits. With the people who really did have talent being in the minority. Although those individuals probably won
the competition once the wheat and chaff had been separated.

FWIW, all modern pop music seems like caterwauling and yowling to me...
the Eurovision Freak Contest does what it says on the tin.
Bring back Johnny Logan!!!

They do "de-age" actor occasionally, but it always looks
awful. "De-aging" also only works if the actor is still young
enough to do the physical demands of the role, although they
can onverlay the digital face onto a younger actor.
