Well, it was the first thing I thought of at least
"Strange Radio Signals Detected Emanating From Deep Under Antarctic Ice"

But what do radio signals have to do with cosmic rays?
This sounds AI incoherent to me.

    <gasp>
I am embarrassed to admit that, even though I also thought of Who Goes
There? (and of course, the 1982 movie The Thing), I did not think of the Lovecraft.

"Cosmic Rays" is a nice calm song[1] that I first heard on the radio.

Silly scientists. Radio waves emanate from lightening discharges.
So from the core of the earth thru the fluid boundary layer to the crust
    there
is plenty of chances for static charges to develop and be discharged as lightening.

I might be wrong but if the explanation cannot be found by the atmospheric scientists then consult with Geophysicists. Remember that
some vocanic eruptions are accompanies by a lot of lightening.

˙˙˙˙Silly scientists. Radio waves emanate from lightening discharges.

    Indeed.

There is one instrument, buried in the Negev desert (assuming it hasn't
been bombed recently) which records every lightning discharge on the planet.

Still, I for one welcome our new amorphous overlords.

Ah the path of wisdom. Welcome the overlords, study them intently to discover
weakness whether the form is fixed or amorphous, robotic or fleslhly,
    gaseous or
solid. Then subtly unmine them before throwing off their yoke.

    All hail the coming overlords.
