"A prominent Harvard astrophysicist has claimed that a mysterious object moving through our solar system could be a nuclear-powered spacecraft."

"Professor Avi Loeb, director of the Galileo Project, which hunts for
signs of extraterrestrial intelligence, said the interstellar object
known as 3I/ATLAS exhibits characteristics suggesting it is not a
typical comet, contrary to NASA’s assessment."

"One of those signs is the appearance that the object is generating its
own light, suggesting to Loeb that the light comes from a source of
nuclear energy on the 3I/ATLAS' surface."

"The light was seen in a recent photo taken by the Hubble Space
Telescope on July 21, which appeared as a glowing area focused on the
side of the object facing the sun."

It is a Space Tug bringing in a Stargate as documented in “Live Free or
Die: Troy Rising I” by John Ringo. It will not go well for us.
    https://www.amazon.com/Live-Free-Die-Rising-Paperback/dp/B00ZATORM8

    “First Contact Was Friendly”
“When aliens trundled a gate to other worlds into the solar system, the world reacted with awe, hope and fear. But the first aliens to come
through, the Glatun, were peaceful traders and the world breathed a sigh
    of relief.”

“Who Controls the Orbitals, Controls the World”
“When the Horvath came through, they announced their ownership by
dropping rocks on three cities and gutting them. Since then, they've
held Terra as their own personal fiefdom. With their control of the
orbitals, there's no way to win and earth's governments have accepted
    the status quo.”

    “Live Free or Die.”
“To free the world from the grip of the Horvath is going to take an
unlikely hero. A hero unwilling to back down to alien or human
governments, unwilling to live in slavery and enough hubris, if not
stature, to think he can win.”
“Fortunately, there's Tyler Vernon. And he has bigger plans than just getting rid of Horvath.”

    Highly recommended.

Facing the sun, a bright spot on a rock could be a patch of ice.
I wish it was an alien spacecraft but other things are more likely.

This sort of nonsense actually lends credence to a certain Orange
POTUS with respect to his attacks on Harvard and other prestigious
    schools.

OK, academic freedom and freedom of speech both include the freedom to
    make ludicrous statements, but /really/.

Avi Loeb sees Little Green Men in many phenomena.

In 2017, he suggested ʻOumuamua was artificial.

In 2014, he claimed that meteor CNEOS 2014-01-08
was from an extrasolar source, and later in 2023,
a claim that he'd recovered material from it from
the ocean floor, and that it could be the remnants
    of a extraterrestrial starship.

Now he's claiming that 31/Atlas may be another
    interstellar craft.

He seems a bit of a sensationalist.

We will know when if the Space Tug slows down and drops off a Stargate.
