    I remember some years ago that our local public library announced not
    everyone who wanted to "read" Madonna's "Sex" would get to as the book
    was poorly bound and that while they had 25 copies, if everyone kept
    it for a week given the usual wear and tear the bindings would fail
    before everyone got the chance.
