Nine science fiction stories by the author of The Universe Between.

This was probably the first book that I bought other than through SBS. Picked it up off a wire rack in a scuzzy gas station. It was the Macfadden 1964 MMPB, which is still on my shelves to this day.

My takes on some of the stories were quite different from yours. For instance: - "Brightside Crossing": Getting through this work was nearly as much work
as the first crossing party had. I've never been a fan of this kind of story.
    - "Nightmare Brother": As a ten-year-old, I had some trouble understanding
this one, but it still pulled me in.
    - "PRoblem" and the title story were both scary to ten-year-old me.
    - I found "The Coffin Cure", "Love Thy Vimp", "Letter of the Law", and
"Family Resemblance" to be funny. In fact, I still do.

I see "The Coffin Cure" as a warning against premature publication. If only Ponz and Fleischman had read it!

I still confuse "Letter of the Law" with Kate Wilhelm's "Kangaroo Court".

There's no "me" in "team". There's no "us" in "team", either.
