I tried it way back when, but the premise just didn't work
for me.
When you get old and gray and arthritic, the Galactics say
if you go to work for them, they will rejuvinate you, and
make you immortal.
That's the sales pitch.
Thing is, no one ... not one person ... who took them up on
this offer has ever been seen or heard from again. Ever.
Even though the Galactics are human, for all anyone could
possibly know, It's A Cookbook(TM).
Of course, it isn't, but what they do is clone a copy of you,
upload a copy of your mind into the copy, and euthanize you.
