    Never understood that wanky term ?speculative fiction?. And no, I
    don?t see the ?SF? umbrella including fantasy or -- gods forbid --
    horror.

    Edge examples:

    * ?Lord Of Light?, by Roger Zelazny: an SF story wearing the clothes
    of a fantasy.
    * ?The Magic Goes Away? by Larry Niven: magic as a natural phenomenon
    amenable to scientific study is not something most ?fantasy? authors
    could cope with intellectually, so I would call this ?SF?.
