As I have mentioned before, I listen to novels and anthologies while
doing long (4-7 miles) walks to help lose weight (50 lbs so far). One
series I am listening to is Harry Potter. They are long, relatively easy enough that I don't have to concentrate on listening and can instead
watch for traffic to make sure some idiot doesn't run me down, and I
like to find plot holes. You could drive a D-11 Caterpillar Bulldozer
through some of them. But overall they are not bad.
She does get one thing almost perfect, Dolores Umbridge. There are few
more loathsome characters I have run across that are also believable. Something must have happened to JKR to inspire this character.
I must also say that the actress who portrayed her, Imelda Staunton,
nailed the role.
