    Well sadly we have movements that reject our environmental role
    as topmost predators which have caused hunting of invasive species
    to be dismissed as violence.

    I suspect that, like the Win 11 bug (now apparently fixed, except on
    Dell), even a bigger planet (hard drive) will only postpone the
    inevitable.

    Well, there is the background for Dan Koboldt's _Build a Dragon_ series (currently 3 titles, _Domesticating Dragons_. _Deploying Dragons_. and _Dragons Gone Wild_). An eccentric inventor created a predator for feral
    hogs, which he called dragons (perhaps 100 lb or so - sterile, somewhat limited lifespan) and released a horde for the hunt. This being
    successful, his company had find other markets - that is where the
    series starts.

    They are a little gamey but still make pretty good char siu. And
    breakfast sausages. Hawaii has a similar problem.
