The few of San Francisco through the GG bridge
is likely from Battery Spencer, just west of the north
end of the bridge.
I agree on the location, but the details seem wrong.
The tower seen is presumably the north tower, since the
cable to the left descends at a much steeper angle than
that on the right, and the cable on the right side appears
to be very, very long, matching the center span.
However, the descending cable on the south side of the south
tower meets a massive buttress where it contacts
the roadbed, which is entirely missing.
Also, the north tower stands on land, on the northern
side of the passage - there no water north of it.
The south tower is built on the the water, but its
much closer to the south side.
I think a lot of artistic license has been taken here.
