I give reasons why we know that the Earth is a sphere, and not flat,
as it may seem on a local basis, and as some continue to advocate to
this day.
However, while the thought had occurred to me long ago, I had not,
until now, included a reference to one way a flat Earth could be made
to fit the facts which undeniably point to the Earth being a sphere.
So I've added a map of the Earth on a polar stereographic
projection... noting that the problem of Australia having to be
stretched to extend across as many time zones as it does can be
avoided if one adopts a modification of the Theory of the Relativity
of Distance devised by Amtor's great scientist Klufar.
