Trying to make sure I don't get overwhelmed by grading, so I focused on
that yesterday. So, I mostly just had LMN on in the background, and
    watched just soaps:

soaps: DOOL - Ava tries to get into the Bistro restaurant to find
Clyde's ledger inside, with Harris keeping watch outside, but both are interrupted - by Stefan and Kate, respectively. In the end, Ava doesn't
get the ledger and is forced to give Stefan back her keys to the
restaurant. Later, she is confronted by Kayla, and is banned from living
with Harris by Roman. Nothing else important happened.
GH - Nina confronts Ava, and is paranoid about it, accusing Ava of planning to replace Nina in Sonny's life going all the way back to
Nina's turning Carly and Drew into the SEC (I think this is nonsense -
Ava was not scheming against Nina that long ago). Ava doesn't cop to it,
but never really denies it. Nina signs the divorce papers... Separately, NuKristina complains about Ava to Sam. Later, Sam yells at Jason about
Danny (*not* Jason's fault!). Maxie complains about Lucy to Lois (I
think Lucy's days at the company are numbered...).

    What did you watch?

    What did you watch?

Nothing worth mentioning. Looking at my DVR only one program set to
record tonight. Wow TV has become a dead zone. Did the TV season just
    end or something?

The Deadpool & Wolverine trailer dropped yesterday. I did watch that a ridiculous number of times: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cen0rBKLuYE

Its been dying for a number years now. Everything is being made for the walled gardens (streaming) now.

On last nights totally boring NCIS OWM, they announced ending seasons and series. Bob Hartz is over, NCIS and I think Blue Bloods are on their second
to last episode of 10 episode seasons.

I saw a bit of NCIS: Very Old Men - it was ridiculous: Why the Hell was
Gary Cole assisting on an open-heart surgery when he's not a doctor?!?!!

And "Blue Blood's" final season is being split, right, with the other
    half this Fall?

Gary Cole assisting on an open-heart surgery when he's not a doctor?!?!!

Well, I may as well do a recap here.

It starts with a medical training session. The head doctor played by Tim
Russ from Star Trek Voyager and I am horrified that this is all he can get
now in the way of work goes out to get food And is kidnapped and found
dead. So he had like two minutes of airtime. I’m not really sure why this involves NCIS but I guess it was a navy hospital or something.

Anyway, so they find out that the world‘s greatest South American drug criminal, who Vance has a personal grudge against is in the country,
needing a tumor removed from his heart. Some people they just kill for fun
and others that have valuable information for NCIS. They just tell them be quiet or they’ll kill. If they had just killed everybody they’ve never been caught.

Anyway, so rather than just grab a couple doctors and take them back to
South America, they paid a whole bunch of people who can also talk to build
a heart surgery ER in an abandoned building. Hey, look they’re reusing that freestanding black plague quarantine set that Dinozzo almost died in.

So Gary Cole is interviewing the dead Vulcan’s partner, when the bad guys come to get her to do the surgery. So he pretends to be her other partner
to go along and save her.

I should point out here that the lady Dr he’s trying to save is played by a complete non-actress and gives the single worst performance I have ever
seen on a major league TV show. It’s the kind of performance you get when
you do, stunt, casting, and stick in some politician, who’s in the news in
a cameo. Not only is she robotic she shouts her lines for no reason
    whatsoever.

One of the psychotic henchman breaks her wrist, so Gary Cole has to do the heart surgery. They get as far as the rib spreading before they are
    rescued.

A couple hours later we are told that her team successfully finished the
heart surgery even though we were previously told that the Vulcan Dr is the only person who could do it, and with him dead she was the only person who could do it and now, some team we’ve never heard of was just able to do it
in no time at all and meanwhile they had given her wrist surgery because
you just do that on the spot as well.

The big question is why they bothered to cure the drug kingpin. Let him die
on the table or let him live with the tumor.

And "Blue Blood's" final season is being split, right, with the other
    half this Fall?

They just said “series finale“ or “season finale” depending on what show
they were talking about. There was none of this split season business where they say this is the Midsummer spring equinox semi finale.

IMDb says NCIS season 21 is 10 episodes total and then they’ll go to season 22.

IMDb says BLUE BLOODS is about to air episode seven of season 14, which
will have 18 episodes total and doesn’t list a season 15 at all. There are no air dates for season 14 episodes 11 through 18. I would guess they will actually do the same thing NCIS is doing with a 10 episodes season and a
summer break and then a new season. I bet that plays merry Hell with
    peoples contracts.

I wonder if they’ll actually start the fall 2024 season With five NCIS
shows or if they’ll air some of them in the summer of 2025.
