Disney Theme Park Attendance PLUMMETS, Lowest in DECADE | Is It Heat, Epic Universe, or The AGENDA?:
Media outlets are reporting that attendance at Disney World and other Disney attractions has dropped to historic lows. There are a number of possible reasons for these terrible attendance figures in what's usually one of their busiest months, but in this video I present a first-hand account from one of my Hollywood Agents of how empty the park was a few weeks ago, and ask the question: have visitors been driven off by the heat, by Epic Universe, or has The Agenda alienated customers more than Disney realized? #disney #waltdisneyworld #themepark

Megyn Takes on Ariana Grande After She Shares AOC Call For Trump Impeachment, with Emily Jashinsky:
Megyn Kelly is joined by Emily Jashinsky, host of "After Party with Emily Jashinsky," to discuss Ariana Grande’s social media post sharing AOC's call for Trump to be impeached, the potential for celebrities to get political in another war-like scenario, and more.

It's less "the agenda" (thought that no doubt plays some part), and
more that Disney is now massively overpriced, and middle class families
    can't afford going there anymore.

    What did you watch?

I was out pretty much all of yesterday, so nothing.

This is a multiday catch up. I watched:

Terrifier (Amazon Prime) 2016 horror movie. I have been well aware of
this franchise for a while now. I've had no interest in watching any of
these movies. But I went to a horror convention this weekend and the
star of the franchise was there so I decided to watch them. First up
David Howard Thornton stars at Art the Clown. He never speaks and
pretty much just tortures and mutilates people throughout the movie.
Not my thing. I mostly avoided looking at the screen and just listened
to the screams. But I got it out the way.

Terrifier 2 (Amazon Prime) 2022 sequel which picks up where the last
movie ended. Art the Clown was killed at the end of the first movie,
but he's supernaturally brought back by an evil spirit or something. I
don't know. And he's once again silently torturing and mutilating
people, this time on Halloween. And they've added a young brother and
sister to the story to go up against Art. Still really not my thing,
but I'll say this was trying something. It's sort of like how the first "Friday the 13" was a straight slasher flick, then it morphed into a supernatural slasher film series. I think they were trying to do the
same thing here with this franchise. Once again I mostly avoided the
kill scenes and just listened. There's a third movie that came out last
year, but Amazon doesn't have it.

M3GAN (4K disc) 2022 movie about a doll with AI that bonds with a little
girl then goes on a killing spree. The movie holds up very well.

Child's Play (4K disc) 2019 remake that swaps out a cursed doll voiced
by Brad Dourif for a doll with AI voiced by Mark Hammill. The AI bonds
with a little boy then goes on a killing spree. This was not good. It
was mostly background noise with the director's commentary. I could
tell from the commentary the director had no idea what he was doing. At
one point on the commentary he even said he didn't know why the doll was
doing what it was doing, but it was in the script.

The Studio (AppleTV+) I started watching this recently and made it
through the first 4 episodes. The series stars Seth Rogen as the new
promoted head of a film studio and follows his wacky adventures behind
the scenes. The series is full of celebrity cameos. It's sort of like
"The Player" or maybe that old Fox show, "Action."

The scriptwriter wasn't taking calls? If more dialog was needed to
explain motivation, then he should have demanded revision or written it
himself like many directors would do. Remind me again who is supposed to
be in charge between the director and the writer.

Action was terrific. The satire was wicked. The writer jokes were
hysterical. They hired the wrong writer because they forgot the name of
the guy they really wanted. The prostitute gave him, uh, special
motivation to produce the final draft of the script. They wouldn't pay
him the overtime he was entitled to, so they made him a producer. Then,
that joke was paid off: He yelled at a crew member on set, who
subsequently died. The executive producer congratulated him on becoming
a real producer, having killed his first crew member.

Is The Studio funny or not? You didn't say. I still have trouble
    picturing Rogan as the executive.

Exactly. I got tired to waiting for someone to go with me to see the STAR WARS stuff at Disneyland, so I went by myself and just for me alone to get into one half of the property-- no California Adventure for me-- was in the hundreds of dollars. It's absolutely nuts. With a family of four, you could easily spend a thousand bucks on admission and food and all the other stuff that goes with a Disneyland visit. Who has that kind of money just lying around for frivolous things like Disneyland these days?

And after spending all that money, you have to stand there and endure all the people who spent even *more* money cutting the lines in front of you the whole time.

The first episode was pretty funny. Rogan desperately wants to be a

flicks. His first assignment after the promotion is to make a
"Kool-Aid" movie. But Rogan has the opportunity to make a movie with
Martin Scorsese, and needs to figure out how to turn an arthouse
Scorsese film, into a marketable Kool-Aid man movie. The series went
downhill from there. It was like each subsequent episode was half as
good as the one before it. How is that even possible?!? I do plan on eventually finishing the series.

It's quite entertaining. Written by Anthony Perkins and Stephen
Sondheim, based on murder mysteries they created for friends to play
along with. Dyan Cannon gained weight for the role and I still think she
was sexy. You have to suspend disbelieve that her character is several
decades older. Ian McShane before Lovejoy, and Raquel Welch not in on
the gag that her character was based on herself. James Mason as a has
been, and James Coburn just being his cool self with a lot of malice.
    Richard Benjamin and Joan Hackett.

tell us about in advance) in the middle of it and thanks to the improved >software they sent to the DVR. It won't work at all without a signal so you >can't watch your old shows. So even though I had it recorded, I couldn't >watch it. So I went over to my cloud Drive, and fired up the old Superman >serials and let them run.

I recently noticed that when my Internet goes down. I am unable to invoke the inline schedule. I guess the data for the schedule is seperate from the TV signal?

I also watched an episode of million dollar password with that fat pig slob >from Blue Bloods was the "celebrity' with an unbelievably cute contestant. >She gave him the clue "conservative"ť and he replied "crazy" which threw her >so much that she lost the million dollars and left pennyless. Me, I told
the DVR not to record that crap again.

I'm not sure which dumber, "conservative" as a clue, or "crazy" as the response.

    Hey, thanks for asking!

    The Librarians the Next Chapter

Hey, how is that? I'm looking for a new show with a fandom.

It’s reasonably enjoyable. If you liked the previous series, I think it’s a pretty safe bet you’ll like this one. If you liked warehouse 13, you’d probably like this too as it’s pretty close to a remake.

Does it bear any resemblance to “The Last of Sheila“ which “The Player“ Is
    a direct rip off of?

I never heard of "The Last of Sheila." I'm going to have to track it
    down and watch it.

It’s a good film. With a great cast:

James Mason (which is why I took the GF to see it in the theater)
    James Coburn
    Raquel Welch
Dyan Cannon. (I think this is the first time I saw her)
    Richard Benjamin
    Joan Hackett
And beautiful horror star Yvonne Romain as “Sheila“

Just watch says it’s on several services but apparently not free on any of them. :-(

Well, sort of. Cox went down for "planned maintenance" (which they don't

    serials and let them run.

Mine downloads the schedule update every day at a time window you can set.
I think I’m set for between 4 and 6 AM or something. It’s supposed to take five minutes, but it routinely takes hours and sometimes you have to hard reboot the DVR afterwards anyway. And even though it’s in the unit, you can’t access it while the service is out.

I should have tried the Phone app which lets you work the schedule. I don’t know if it’s actually contacting the DVR or something in the cloud.
