CBS News forever lives off the reputation it built under Edward R.
Murrow, forgetting that he fell out of favor with William S. Paley.
Murrow has been dead for six decades now, as a consequence of tobacco
use. He's not coming back.
Allegedly to appease Trump, Bari Weiss is going to have some sort of
enormous role at CBS News. At first it was hinted she might become news >president but I don't think that will happen. The new owners are trying
to buy her brand, The Free Press. It's supposedly going to cost them
$200 million.
Wait. What?
