    I think I would have to be spoon fed to even consider anything in the
    40% range.

    What REALLY makes me postal about tipping is that in Canada restaurant
    meals are subject to the GST and the credit card terminals (most of
    whom allow tipping on %age of bill though almost always have a dollar
    amount option) ALWAYS do their %age calculation on the final figure
    including the tax.

    Since I refuse to tip on tax I always to do calculation mentally and
    am good enough at math that I do get it right.
