Claire Danes & Matthew Rhys Lead Netflix Show's
The Beast in Me Trailer

Netflix has shared the teaser trailer for The Beast in Me,
the upcoming mystery thriller miniseries led by Emmy winners
Claire Danes (Homeland) and Matthew Rhys (The Americans).
The project hails from producers Conan O'Brien and Jodie
Foster. All eight episodes will be available for streaming
starting on November 13.

"Since the tragic death of her young son, acclaimed author
Aggie Wiggs has receded from public life, unable to write, a
ghost of her former self. But she finds an unlikely subject
for a new book when the house next door is bought by Nile
Jarvis, a famed and formidable real estate mogul who was
once the prime suspect in his wife's disappearance," reads
the official synopsis. "At once horrified and fascinated by
this man, Aggie finds herself compulsively hunting for the
truth - chasing his demons while fleeing her own - in a game
of cat and mouse that might turn deadly."

What happens in The Beast in Me trailer?
The video features Danes as Aggie Wiggs as she finds herself
drawn to her new neighbor, Rhys's Nile Jarvis, who was
previously accused of murdering his wife. Desperate for
purpose, Aggie's fascination with her new book subject leads
to a dangerous obsession to uncover the truth. The trailer
highlights the unlikely partnership she'll form with Nile
Jarvis and the consequences of being involved with someone
like him.

The Beast in Me is written, created, and executive-produced
by Gabe Rotter, with Howard Gordon serving as its showrunner
and writer. The cast also includes Brittany Snow, Natalie
Morales, Jonathan Banks, David Lyons, Tim Guinee, Hettienne
Park, Deidre O'Connell, Aleyse Shannon, Will Brill, Kate
Burton, Bill Irwin, Amir Arison, and Julie Ann Emery.

This marks Danes' reunion project with Gordon after previously
working together on the acclaimed drama show Homeland. Besides
Foster and O'Brien, the show is also executive-produced by
Danes, Daniel Pearle, Jeff Ross, David Kissinger, Caroline
Baron, and Antonio Campos, with the latter also directing.
